LSS Returns Policy:
Lancaster Security Supplies aims to ensure your complete satisfaction with all products you purchase from us. We understand you may have questions or concerns regarding our products, and we are here to assist you. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our Returns Policy for a clear understanding of the process.
At Lancaster Security Supplies, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
- Return period: Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused, undamaged items.
- Who pays for return shipping: Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
- Refund method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days of receiving your return.
- Exclusions: Custom, keyed-alike, or special-order items cannot be returned unless faulty under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Returning Products
Products cannot be returned unless they are faulty or the return is otherwise required by the ACL (refer to ACL Repair, replace, refund, cancel link at the bottom of the page). Lancaster Security Supplies does not take responsibility for any Change of Mind returns that customers may have after purchasing/receiving products. Despite this, We may, in Our absolute discretion, elect to accept the return of undamaged products (other than Non Stocked Products/Special Order Items) for change of mind. In these particular cases where we choose to accept a return the Products being returned must be:
- In their original condition and packaging
- Written notice of return must be made within 30 days from the date of collection/delivery (as applicable).
- Product must be returned within 30 days from the date of collection / delivery (as applicable).
Unless the Non Stocked Products are faulty or a refund is required by the ACL
Please note:
– If Our staff decide that a refund will be made after due consideration for any, Change of Mind Returns or Special Order/Non Stocked Product returns, a restocking fee of 15% will apply , and you will be responsible for covering the postage costs for the return.
We request that you contact us prior to returning any items to help us ensure that this is the correct/best option for you.
Change of Mind Returns:
To return your purchase for change of mind you must:
– Notify us in writing within 30 days of goods purchased (as mentioned above).
– Ensure all returned items are in their original condition and packaging and all accessories are included, undamaged.
Please note:

Restocking Fees
We maintain limited stock to offer various products for our customers. Due to this, when some items are returned they will be returned to our wholesaler. The re-stocking fee is what is charged onto us by our wholesaler.
- Restocking Fee equal to 15% of the returned items purchase price.
Items that cannot be retuned for change of mind return are:
- Non Stocked Products, Made to order items listed as (MTO) or Special Order items.
- Additional keys cut for products
- Keying charges for locks e.g. Keyed Alike or Keyed to Differ.
- Items that are damaged or defective as a result of misuse or improper installation.
How to Return:
- If you have spoken to a member of Lancaster Security Supplied, then please follow the steps provided by our staff member unless advised differently.
Labeling Return Packages:
- Label the front of your package as advised.
- Include inside the package your invoice/proof of purchase.
- On the back of the package please print your full name & invoice number.
Please note:
– Returns will no be accepted if they are not first authorized by a staff member of Lancaster Security Supplies.
– Any items sent back to Lancaster Security Supplies for return, without being authorized by a staff member, are not guaranteed a refund/return. If items are returned without prior authorization, you will be responsible for all postage costs.
The above procedure is strictly for postage returns ONLY. We do not allow customer access at any time.
